The limited partnership company under the name DataNexus (hereinafter the “Company”), headquartered at Vasilisis Olgas 24, 15124, Marousi/Athens, is the data controller according to the provisions of Article 4, paragraph 7 of the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679/EU) for the personal data of visitors/users of the website www.datanexus.gr (hereinafter the “Website”), which it manages.

Categories of Personal Data

The Company collects the following categories of personal data from visitors/users of the Website:

  1. Full name and email address. Visitors provide these categories of personal data when filling out the corresponding fields (checkboxes) to subscribe to the newsletter (periodic electronic updates) of DataNexus.

  2. Email address and any other personal data categories that visitors choose to disclose when sending electronic messages to support@datanexus.gr.

  3. Full name, father’s name, email address, residential address (there is the possibility to register two addresses), landline phone number, mobile phone number, fax number.


Purposes and Legal Bases of Processing

The Company processes the above categories of personal data for the following purposes, based on the legal bases stated below:

  1. The Company processes the personal data categories provided by visitors when subscribing to the newsletter in order to send informational or promotional messages about its activities and services, as well as products of the e-shop operating via the Website. The legal basis for this processing is the consent of the visitors, given by filling in the necessary subscription details.

  2. The Company processes personal data categories provided by visitors when sending electronic messages to support@datanexus.gr, to respond to their queries and provide relevant informational material. The legal basis for this processing is the consent of the visitors, expressed by sending a message to the Company’s communication addresses.


Categories of Recipients of Personal Data

The Company may disclose personal data of Website visitors to the following recipients:

  1. Third parties (legal or natural persons) with whom the Company has contractual relations. In such cases, the Company only discloses the personal data categories necessary to fulfill the subject of the contracts. Furthermore, the Company commits to binding these third parties to lawfully process the personal data through appropriate contractual terms or annexes.

  2. Judicial or Administrative Authorities in compliance with court or administrative decisions or decisions by Independent Administrative Authorities.

Transfer of Data to Third Countries

The Company does not transfer and does not intend to transfer personal data of Website visitors to third countries or international organizations.


Retention Period of Personal Data

The personal data of Website visitors are retained by the Company only for the period necessary to fulfill the purpose of each processing. The Company may retain data for a longer period only when required by law or judicial/administrative decision.


Rights

The Company undertakes to facilitate the exercise of the rights provided by the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679/EU) and national legislation in force at any time, to visitors as data subjects. Specifically, visitors have the right to request:

  1. Withdrawal of consent provided for specific processing. Visitors can revoke their consent at any time regarding personal data processing related to newsletter subscription or messages sent to the Company’s communication addresses.

  2. Information on the type of processing and access to their personal data.

  3. Correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

  4. Complete and permanent deletion of their personal data from the Company’s records.

  5. Restriction of personal data processing.

  6. Receipt of a copy of all or part of their personal data in a commonly used and machine-readable format.

The Company shall satisfy such requests free of charge, without delay, and in any case within thirty (30) calendar days from receipt. This period may be extended by sixty (60) calendar days if necessary, considering the complexity and number of pending requests. In such a case, the Company shall inform the data subject about the extension and reasons within thirty (30) calendar days from receipt.

The Company may refuse to comply with requests if it cannot verify the identity of the data subject by any appropriate means.

If requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive, especially due to their repetitive nature, the Company may charge a reasonable fee or refuse to act on the request.

Finally, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority concerning any issue related to the processing and protection of their personal data by the Company. Complaints can be submitted via the methods described on the Authority’s website (https://www.dpa.gr/portal/page?_pageid=33,211532&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL).
