Wireless & Wired Network Installation for the 3rd Potami Party Congress
The Network Installation and Internet Service Company DataNexus collaborated with the political party “To Potami” to support the party’s 3rd Open Conference. This particular event took place over two days, November 3–4, in the Metaxourgeio area of Athens, specifically at the Cine Kerameikos venue.
As part of this conference, Epsilon Services undertook the installation of wired and wireless networks at the venue. Providing Internet access for live streaming and real-time voting were just some of the challenges we had to address.
The event’s requirements were particularly high and demanding, as it included:

Live streaming of the event through the political party’s website,

Live interactive voting by attendees via the public Wi-Fi network,

And a private secured Wi-Fi network exclusively for the needs of the party’s Communications Team.
After carefully assessing the event’s needs, Epsilon Services implemented both wired and wireless network installations at the venue. The work carried out included:
– Provision of symmetric Internet access without the use of a telephone line
– Installation of 250 meters of wired network cabling at high speeds to support the live streaming service
– Installation of Access Points to support public Wi-Fi and simultaneous live voting of attendees
– Installation of Routers and Access Points to support the private secured network
– Multiple LAN connections via network switches
